You will develop, test, and maintain mainframe software within legacy billing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL programs and background transaction processing.
• Design and create technical design specifications for mainframe applications.
• Perform analytical debugging and software testing to ensure system stability.
• Implement software improvements using industry best practices and developmental toolsets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Mainframe software engineering and testing experience.
• 5 years of experience developing COBOL programs.
• 3 years of experience with CICS for background transaction processing and screen development.
• 3 years of experience working with DB2.
• 2 years of experience with JCL.
• Proven experience with legacy billing systems.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Experience in business analysis and the full software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of MQ development.
