Description

You will develop, implement, and support applications within a mainframe environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and support mainframe applications using COBOL and CICS.
• Develop and enhance applications involving CICS with MQ series exposure.
• Maintain compliance with development standards, change management, and release management.
• Manage source code control and follow ITIL processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using structured problem-solving techniques.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and CICS.
• Strong knowledge of JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Experience with Control-M and basic IBM utilities.
• Exposure to MQ series.
• Experience in application support and maintenance.
• Understanding of ITIL processes.
• Ability to manage release and change management workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial domain.
