Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications while leading a small technical team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications using COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Manage a team of 2-4 developers on assigned projects.
• Interact directly with clients to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Utilize Agile methodologies and Rally for task management.
• Use ticketing systems like ServiceNow to manage workflows and incidents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Experience with File Manager and IBM JCL utilities.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Changeman or Endeavor.
• Experience using scheduling tools like TWS or CA7.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile environments with Rally.
• Proven experience managing small teams of 2-4 developers.
• Experience with direct client interaction and professional communication.

Preferred Skills

• Insurance domain knowledge.
