Description

Lead application development within a mainframe environment through the full SDLC. You will own the release pipeline, mentor developers on technical issue resolution, and ensure adherence to technical standards. Translate business requirements into functional technical specifications and perform code reviews. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and business users to manage all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. Supervise team tasks and drive best practices.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 7+ years of application development team lead experience in a mainframe environment.
• 7+ years of RPG development experience.
• 7+ years of relational database development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with CLLE command language.
• 7+ years of experience with DDS for interactive screens, menus, files, and report definitions.
• Strong understanding of database system constraints, referential integrity, and normalization.
• Experience working through every phase of the SDLC.

Preferred Skills

• DB2 experience.
