Description

Lead application development within a mainframe environment through the full SDLC. You will own the release pipeline, mentor developers on technical issue resolution, and ensure adherence to technical standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead application development teams and mentor developers on technical issue resolution.
• Translate business requirements into functional technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews and collaborate with project managers, architects, and business users.
• Manage all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of application development team lead experience in a mainframe environment.
• 7+ years of RPG development experience.
• 7+ years of relational database development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with CLLE command language.
• 7+ years of experience with DDS for interactive screens, menus, files, and report definitions.
• Strong understanding of database system constraints, referential integrity, and normalization.
• Experience working through every phase of the SDLC.
