Description

You will develop and maintain applications on mainframe platforms, resolving architectural challenges related to scalability, performance, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions using COBOL and C on iSeries and Unisys mainframes.
• Manage source code using Git or similar version control systems.
• Implement Agile and DevOps practices for development workflows.
• Resolve complex architectural issues regarding system reliability and security.
• Communicate technical specifications clearly to stakeholders and team members.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise with iSeries and Unisys mainframe technologies.
• Proficiency in COBOL and C programming.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and standard software design patterns.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing using UFT, Postman, and Selenium.
• Ability to understand software-hardware interactions.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system modernization.
• Familiarity with additional mainframe debugging tools.
