Description

Develop and maintain critical business applications on the mainframe platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and JCL.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of mainframe programs.
• Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL.
• Strong proficiency in DB2 and JCL.
• Experience with IMS Databases.
• Deep understanding of mainframe development lifecycle and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years tenure in similar mainframe development roles.
