Description

You will develop, maintain, and debug mainframe software applications to meet business requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Code and maintain COBOL and JCL applications.
• Oversee testing, debugging, and quality assurance procedures.
• Conduct impact analysis and remediation for SFTP and MQ client version changes.
• Research complaints and implement fixes for complex software issues.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or application programming.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Experience with DB2 database management.
• Hands-on experience with IBM MQ versions 9.1 to 9.3.
• Practical knowledge of IBM MQFT.
• Proven ability to perform impact analysis for mainframe applications.
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
