Description

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications for large-scale IT projects. Own the full lifecycle from implementation to debugging and resolution of moderate-complexity issues.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mainframe applications using established technical standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software code to resolve technical issues.
  • Implement solutions for technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Apply technical theories and concepts to support large-scale IT projects.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience as a senior mainframe engineer.
  • 2+ years of experience in project leadership.
  • Expertise in COBOL and CICS.
  • Advanced knowledge of DB2 and DB2 SQL design.
  • Proficiency with JCL, Procs, TSO, and SPUFI.
  • Experience with IT IS_AMS_Mainframe_CICS Administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of industry standard debugging tools and ISPW.
  • Experience with DB2 Stored Procedures.
