Description

You will design, develop, and test mainframe code based on technical requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert design specifications and prototypes into system design and documentation.
• Develop and test code using COBOL, DB2, Stored Procedures, and JCL.
• Verify functionality and defect fixes while determining root causes.
• Follow established check-in policies and technical workflows.
• Communicate dependencies and issues to the Scrum Master or Delivery Manager.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL and DB2.
• Proficiency in JCL programming and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with system design and technical documentation.
• Background working in the banking industry.
• Ability to work within a Scrum framework.
• Strong technical communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
