Description

You will own mainframe application modernization and retirement tasks, leading the migration of legacy COBOL and DB2 applications to AWS cloud services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of legacy COBOL and DB2 applications to AWS cloud services.
• Ensure data sets and structures meet architecture standards during migration.
• Write and integrate data into the DSVDS analytic database.
• Collaborate with the Data Modernization team on data pipelines.
• Retire legacy system components, including stored procedures, service requests, tables, and batch jobs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of mainframe development and migration experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL and DB2.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with JCL (Job Control Language).
• Familiarity with Mainframe Tools: Control-M, Endevor, BFC, Smart TS.
• Exposure to AWS services: S3, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB.
• Experience supporting and developing mainframe applications.
