Description

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and SQL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL programs and DB2 stored procedures.
• Write and optimize SQL and embedded SQL for database operations.
• Manage DB2 batch programming and perform database performance tuning.
• Utilize JCL, ISPF/TSO, and MQ Series for messaging and system tasks.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL.
• Advanced knowledge of DB2 and relational database constructs.
• Expertise in SQL and embedded SQL development.
• Experience with DB2 batch programming and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in EasyTrieve.
• Experience using DB2 tools including BMC and Insync.
• Hands-on experience with JCL and ISPF/TSO.
• Familiarity with MQ Series for messaging.
