Description

Develop new features and implement technical solutions for mainframe applications.

You will own the development lifecycle within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features using COBOL and DB2.
• Collaborate with business and application teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in high-level design sessions to determine best practices and optimal client solutions.
• Work within SCRUM and KANBAN methodologies to deliver software increments.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and DB2.
• Expertise in SQL, Embedded SQL, and Stored Procedure development.
• Experience with DB2 Batch Programming.
• Knowledge of DB2 relational database constructs and Physical Model creation.
• Proficiency with EasyTrieve.
• Working knowledge of DB2 tools including BMC, Insync, JCL, ISPF, and TSO.
• Experience with MQ Series and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of total professional experience.
