Description

You will design, maintain, and engineer applications within a mainframe environment while supporting production operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and engineer applications using mainframe technologies, including SAS programming.
• Interface with business lines and IT teams to influence technical solutions.
• Participate in production support activities on a rotational basis.
• Lead initiatives in application development and production support, including training junior staff.
• Deliver high-quality technical solutions within agreed levels of effort.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional experience in mainframe development.
• Expertise in COBOL, DB2, SAS, JCL, IMS, CICS, REXX, VSAM, z/OS, TSO, ISPFF, and SYNCSORT.
• Proficiency with Mainframe utilities, Jobtrac job scheduler, and ISPW change management.
• Experience with relational databases including Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Mortgage industry experience.
• Mainframe integration with APIs and IT modernization efforts.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
