Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and related tools.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using COBOL and mainframe-based frameworks.
• Manage data using DB2, VSAM, and relational databases.
• Execute and monitor batch jobs using JCL and Jobtrac.
• Maintain code integrity using ISPW change management tools.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and IMS.
• Hands-on knowledge of CICS and REXX.
• Working knowledge of VSAM, Z/OS, TSO, and ISPF.
• Experience with SYNCSORT and mainframe utilities.
• Experience with Jobtrac job scheduler and ISPW change management.
• Knowledge of relational databases (Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
