Description

Develop and maintain mainframe software for technology initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document software for assigned tasks.
• Execute system installations, upgrades, and deployments.
• Analyze technical challenges and propose solutions to meet service level agreements.
• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and availability.
• Collaborate with technology teams and stakeholders on project updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming on mainframe systems.
• Foundational knowledge of Assembler programming.
• Experience defining VSAM structures and working with various VSAM types.
• Familiarity with EZTRIEVE.
• Working knowledge of CICS, JCL, PROC, Endeavor, CA7, and MQ.
• Experience with Data Space and ServiceNow.
• Understanding of security and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies, FMVVS, and software testing practices.
