Description

You will lead the development, maintenance, and support of tax reporting applications on the IBM Mainframe.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, test, and deploy mainframe-based reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with business, tax, and compliance teams to define technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure application stability.
• Mentor developers and support project planning and estimation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IBM Mainframe development experience.
• Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Experience with Zeke, File Manager, Abend-Aid, SPUFI, SORT, and ICETOOL.
• Strong SQL, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and source control.
• Knowledge of SFTP processes, report generation, batch processing, and job scheduling.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in tax reporting or regulatory compliance domains.
