Description

You will design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications across batch and online systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and support core insurance applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
• Analyze business requirements for policy administration, claims, billing, and underwriting.
• Deliver features within Agile sprint cycles and participate in planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform code enhancements, bug fixes, and production support including ABEND troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to established coding standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of mainframe development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2/SQL, VSAM, and CICS.
• Proven experience in the insurance domain (policy administration, claims, billing, or underwriting).
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
• Solid debugging and problem-solving skills in a z/OS environment.
• Experience with version control tools such as Endevor, Changeman, or Git.
• Bachelor's degree.
