Description

You will develop, maintain, and support mainframe business applications for the Integrated Tax Administration System.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe-based management systems using COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
• Perform application monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Lead technical projects and serve as a subject matter expert for application development.
• Translate customer needs into automated software solutions and document technical requirements throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis.
• Proficiency with COBOL, CICS, EasyTrieve, and JCL.
• Experience with DB2 and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with TSO/ISPF, Z/OS, MVS, and IMS.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and software quality assurance testing.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex mainframe applications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with INSTALL/1.
• ITIL certification or practical knowledge of the ITIL framework.
