Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications integrated with distributed systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design applications to improve existing processes.
• Modify applications and implement automation where possible.
• Execute data cleanups based on production analysis.
• Monitor system processes, track issues accurately, and identify production impacts.
• Escalate timelines to meet client requests during incident resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of recent experience developing COBOL for CICS and batch programs.
• Proficiency with JCL, COBOL, and CICS.
• Experience working with VSAM files and DB2.
• Ability to integrate existing designs with new requirements in a mainframe environment.
• Capacity to resolve complex and conflicting design issues.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing applications in IBM VSE mainframe environment.
• Experience with SQL and stored procedures in MS SQL 2005 or above.
• Experience with Quick Job Utility Language.
