Description

You will develop and support mainframe applications through the full software development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and unit test application changes to ensure code quality.
• Translate gathered requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve technical issues.
• Optimize application performance for efficient resource usage.
• Implement and support changes through the deployment and turnover process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Hands-on expertise with COBOL and JCL.
• Proficiency with VSAM and Db2.
• Experience using Mainframe Utilities and CICS.
• Ability to write and execute unit test scenarios.
• Strong skills in gathering and analyzing requirements.
• Proven experience managing lifecycle components including code, test, and deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Payments or Cards domain.
