Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize core mainframe applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness by identifying and correcting bottlenecks.
• Fix bugs and optimize database queries using Advanced SQL.
• Participate in Agile development processes and project management activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development and maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL.
• Working knowledge of VSAM, JCL, and DB2.
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL for database querying and optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CICS is required.
