Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications, handling incident resolution and on-call support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Code, design, and develop mainframe software solutions using COBOL, DB2, IMS DB, and CICS.
• Analyze incident tickets and perform abend fixes to ensure system stability.
• Coordinate with mainframe operations for on-call support and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB, and CICS.
• Hands-on experience with VSAM, TSO/ISPF, and File Manager.
• Working knowledge of Debug Tool, CA7/11, and Endevor.
• Understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Strong analysis skills for troubleshooting and incident resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with business analysts.
