Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications integrated with Linux and Unix environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and Pl/i.
• Manage batch processing and job control using JCL.
• Write and optimize SQL queries across Oracle and Postgres databases.
• Automate tasks using Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting.
• Integrate mainframe systems with Linux and Unix environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and Pl/i.
• Strong knowledge of JCL.
• Experience with Unix and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle, and Postgres.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
