Description

You will develop and support mainframe applications through the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and unit test application changes to ensure code quality.
• Translate gathered requirements into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve technical issues.
• Optimize application performance and software resource usage.
• Implement and support changes through deployment and turnover phases.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Hands-on experience with COBOL and JCL.
• Proficiency with VSAM and Db2.
• Experience with Mainframe Utilities and CICS.
• Strong Java programming skills.
• Ability to manage all lifecycle components including coding, testing, and deployment.
• Experience writing and executing unit test scenarios.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Payments or Cards domain.
