Description

You will develop, maintain, and modernize mainframe applications while providing production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and CICS.
• Support system modernization and de-commissioning efforts.
• Handle firecall support for mainframe systems, JCL, and VSAM.
• Monitor and support batch jobs to ensure system stability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with COBOL and DB2 application development.
• Proficiency in JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
• Experience with Topaz for development and debugging.
• Knowledge of System Z architecture and Enterprise COBOL.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Experience with system modernization projects.
• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant mainframe development experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system migration strategies.
