Description

You will develop and support mainframe applications through the full software development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and unit test application changes to ensure code quality.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Manage deployment and turnover processes for application changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL.
• Proficiency in JCL, VSAM, and Db2.
• Experience using Mainframe Utilities and CICS.
• Ability to manage all lifecycle components including coding, testing, and deployment.
• Strong analytical skills for requirement gathering and technical translation.
• Proven ability to debug and optimize application performance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Payments or Cards domain.
