Description

You will develop, test, and maintain COBOL applications on mainframe systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs and applications.
• Analyze existing applications for enhancements and optimizations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe application issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Mainframe Developer focused on COBOL.
• Strong understanding of mainframe environments, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2.
• Experience with debugging and performance tuning.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
