Description
You will develop and maintain applications within IBM mainframe environments, ensuring performance and security requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop software using IBM Z/OS COBOL, JCL, Rex, and DB2.
- Manage mainframe batch processing, including job scheduling with Control-M.
- Determine priorities and execute tasks within short delivery tenures.
- Ensure software applications meet all performance and security requirements.
Required Skills
- 9+ years of experience in mainframe development.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Z/OS (MVS), Sysplex, CICS, DB2, JES, and UNIX System Services (USS).
- Proficiency in IBM Z/OS COBOL, JCL, Rex, and DB2.
- Experience with XLR and mainframe batch processing.
- Experience using Source Code Management (SCM) products such as ISPW, Changeman, or Endevor.
- Experience with job scheduling using Control-M.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ISPW.
- Experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, and Python.
