Description

You will own the development, support, and resolution of complex mainframe production environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution for escalations using advanced query and programming skills.
• Manage application monitoring, service analytics, reporting, and production governance activities.
• Lead the resolution of 'production down' incidents within SLA deadlines, including root cause analysis.
• Coordinate work delegation between offshore and onshore technical teams to address project issues and risks.
• Contribute to Problem Management and facilitate discussions to moderate technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in COBOL.
• Proficiency with JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, IMS DB, IMS DC, MQ Series, and Easytrieve.
• Experience with Endeavor and IBM problem determination tools like File Manager and Fault Analyzer.
• Proven ability to manage incident resolution and participate in production support rotations.
• Strong technical expertise to support multiple applications and build SME-level knowledge.
• Experience in production support and change configuration management.
• Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated facilitation and discussion moderation abilities.
