Description

You will design, develop, and maintain large-scale mainframe database applications, including migration to distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement applications using COBOL, IMS, DB2, VSAM, and IDMS.
• Design conversions of requirements into business processes and workflows.
• Perform detailed design for business rules, user interfaces, and reports.
• Coordinate unit and integration testing, collaborating with development and testing teams.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, adhering to coding standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming.
• Experience with DB2 and VSAM databases.
• Knowledge of IMS, IDMS, CICS, or IBM Assembler.
• Experience with mainframe migration to distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
