Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications while managing IBM MQ infrastructure and ensuring high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Administer IBM MQ queues, including local and remote queues, queue managers, and channels.
• Install, upgrade, and patch MQ software while managing security and data encryption controls.
• Design MQ clusters and load balancers to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to define MQ architecture and design.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Deep knowledge of Stored Procedures and IBM MQ.
• Experience with z/OS, z/VM, z/Linux, and IBM System z platforms.
• Ability to perform MQ queue performance tuning and certificate management.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments.
