Description

You will develop and maintain business-critical applications in a mainframe environment supporting fund accounting processes.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and maintain software solutions in a mainframe environment using PL/1 or COBOL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing applications and system dependencies.
• Identify gaps and missing processes in the lower BUAT environment and provide effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain batch and online programs to meet business requirements and timelines.
• Participate in job scheduling and monitoring using OPC Scheduling tools.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in mainframe application development.
• Proficiency in PL/1 or COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, and OPC Scheduling.
• In-depth knowledge of Capital Markets and Fund Accounting platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM MQ.
• Familiarity with Rational Developer for z (RDz) or other modern mainframe IDEs.
