Description

You will analyze, design, and document legacy mainframe modules and business processes while ensuring quality control of project deliverables.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document requirements for data and business processes.
• Design and coordinate changes to legacy modules.
• Estimate feasibility and compatibility with existing programs.
• Document program and project deliverables as assigned.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a programmer analyst in corporate or government environments.
• 5+ years exposing COBOL and CICS programs as web services via CICS Transaction Server (CTS) or CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG).
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, TSO, VMS, JCL, ENDEAVOR, CA Tools, SQL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Proven experience in programming, testing, debugging, and implementation within mainframe environments.
• Experience with financial processes analysis and modification.
• Strong analytical, planning, and scheduling skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with State or county government.
• Experience with Secure Socket Layer (SSL).
• Enterprise Level Application Development spanning two or more business areas.
