Description

Lead application development efforts within a mainframe environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead application development teams and supervise developers to resolve technical issues.
• Mentor team members on tool usage, project task completion, and engineering best practices.
• Perform code reviews and collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical architects.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Manage all phases of the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total professional experience.
• 7+ years of application development team lead experience in a mainframe environment.
• 7+ years of RPG development experience.
• 7+ years of relational database development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with CLLE command language.
• 7+ years of experience with DDS for interactive screens, menus, files, and report definitions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• DB2 experience.
