Description

You will own the development, maintenance, and production support of mission-critical Enterprise Data Warehouse applications on IBM z/OS and Teradata.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain COBOL programs, JCL, DB2 queries, and VSAM file processes to support business requirements.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, including incident analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage and recover batch jobs using Control-M to ensure successful completion within established SLA windows.
• Execute application code migrations and production deployments using Endevor in accordance with SDLC processes.
• Collaborate with QA, DBA, and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues and validate data through reconciliation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Strong experience with DB2 and VSAM.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Experience with SDLC and Change Management.
• Skills in Incident Management and Problem Management.
• Proven track record in Production Support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Teradata platforms.
• Familiarity with Control-M and Endevor.
