Description

Maintain and update legacy systems in a mainframe environment, owning the full lifecycle of code changes from design documentation to release.

Responsibilities

• Perform impact analysis on existing legacy systems to assess change requirements.
• Write, test, and maintain code using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Apply design documentation standards, including Unified Modeling Language (UML), to ensure clarity and maintainability.
• Manage code changes and version control using tools such as ChangeMan or Endeavor.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience working with Mainframe technologies.
• Hands-on proficiency in COBOL programming.
• Strong experience writing and maintaining JCL.
• Experience with DB2 and SQL DB2 for database management.
• Proficiency with version control tools like ChangeMan or Endeavor.
• Ability to interpret and use Unified Modeling Language (UML) for design documentation.
• Background working within the financial industry.
