Description

You will lead mainframe development projects, managing offshore teams and delivering COBOL, JCL, and CICS solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain COBOL, JCL, and CICS modules to meet business requirements.
• Manage a team of 15+ offshore consultants throughout the SDLC, from requirements to deployment.
• Analyze business functions and data discrepancies to identify solutions across mainframe and distributed platforms.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality.
• Produce extensive documentation and provide subject matter expertise across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in IBM Mainframe PL1 and COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with CICS, JCL, and IMS DB.
• Strong knowledge of IBM DB2 and SQL.
• Proven experience managing development under an onshore-offshore model.
• Experience with industry-standard source control systems.
• Ability to produce extensive documentation.
