Description

You will lead mainframe development efforts while managing a team of offshore consultants and providing technical guidance across the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL, JCL, PL1, and CICS modules to meet business requirements.
• Manage a team of 15+ offshore consultants on mainframe development projects.
• Analyze business functions and identify data discrepancies.
• Provide SME-level guidance across design, integration, and deployment phases.
• Conduct code reviews with team leads and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Expertise in IBM Mainframe PL1 and COBOL.
• Proficiency with CICS and JCL.
• Experience with IMS DB and IBM DB2.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proven experience working within an onshore-offshore delivery model.
• Experience with industry-standard source control systems.
• Ability to document technical specifications and designs thoroughly.
