Description

You will own end-to-end mainframe application deliverables, translating business requirements into code and managing development priorities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into mainframe code and practical physical implementations.
• Create high-level and low-level designs, including technical estimations.
• Manage other software developers and establish development priorities.
• Execute coding, unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
• Provide client support through data presentation, ticket resolution, and requirement monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience as a mainframe application developer.
• Strong knowledge of the Systems Development Life-cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Mainframe Print technologies including LRS, VPS, and DRS.
• Experience with Info Print Server.
• Ability to design and implement scalable, supportable code.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for interfacing application resolutions.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
