Description

You will develop and maintain applications within IBM mainframe environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage software using IBM Z/OS COBOL, JCL, Rex, and DB2.
• Execute mainframe batch processing and manage job scheduling via Control-M.
• Ensure all software applications meet defined performance and security requirements.
• Manage source code using SCM products such as ISPW, ChangeMan, or Endevour.
• Prioritize tasks and execute deliverables within short project tenures.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Hands-on expertise with IBM Z/OS COBOL, JCL, Rex, and DB2.
• Experience with Z/OS (MVS), Sysplex, CICS, JES, and UNIX System Services (USS).
• Proficiency with XLR and mainframe batch processing.
• Experience using Source Code Management (SCM) tools like ISPW, ChangeMan, or Endevour.
• Knowledge of job scheduling with Control-M.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, and Python.
• Specific knowledge of ISPW.
