Description

You will develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications across batch and online processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support job streams, transaction systems, and message-driven programs.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through production support.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and plan corrective actions.
• Optimize mainframe code and database access for performance and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB, and CICS.
• Experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation of technical designs and codebases.
• Experience supporting production jobs and on-call troubleshooting.
• Ability to collaborate with system analysts, QA testers, and infrastructure teams.
