Description

Develop and maintain mainframe applications, focusing on COBOL, DB2, and CICS within an Agile framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Build and support CICS webservices and APIs.
• Ensure high availability and stability of production systems.
• Participate in client-facing development and support activities.
• Work within an Agile development environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of solid application development experience in Mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, TSO, and CICS.
• Experience with mainframe programming and debugging platforms.
• Familiarity with COBOL webservices and API development.
• Understanding of the Insurance domain.
• Experience supporting high availability production systems.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile environments.
