Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications within large, collaborative teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application, data, and infrastructure architecture.
• Develop and maintain software using COBOL and modern programming languages.
• Manage software lifecycles including business analysis, development, and maintenance.
• Apply industry-wide technology trends and best practices to system design.
• Collaborate across systems to ensure architectural alignment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Mainframe Application and COBOL development experience.
• 7+ years of experience in CICS, DB2, VSAM, and MQ application development.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as Expeditor.
• Experience with Endevor, CA-7, NDM, MFTS, s-FTP, and XML.
• Working knowledge of CLIST and REXX.
• Ability to work with Stored Procedures.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, JSON, JMS, Kafka, API REST services, Spring Boot, and WebSphere Optimized Local App (WOLA).
• Background in financial messaging using SWIFT MT, ISO 20022 pain, pacs, or camt formats.
