Description

You will develop and maintain applications within an IBM Mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain code using COBOL and PL/I.
• Develop and optimize DB2 stored procedures and complex SQL queries.
• Manage batch processing and job flows using JCL.
• Utilize IBM utilities (FileAid, QMF, SPUFI) for data management and testing.
• Leverage DFSORT and version control tools to manage codebase integrity.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL and PL/I programming languages.
• Strong SQL skills and experience developing DB2 stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with JCL.
• Working knowledge of IBM utilities including FileAid, QMF, and SPUFI.
• Experience with DFSORT and version control tools.
• Experience using GitHub and IDz.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CICS.
