Description

You will design, develop, and test mainframe code to support US Liquidity systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mainframe code using COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while meeting design constraints.
• Execute software solutions and technical troubleshooting to resolve complex technical problems.
• Analyze large, diverse data sets to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous system improvement.
• Ensure all code adheres to architecture standards, risk management, and security guidelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and application development.
• Hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
• Practical experience in system design, testing, and maintaining operational stability.
• Experience developing and debugging code within a large corporate environment.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, including CI/CD and Application Resiliency.
• Ability to work with modern programming and database querying languages.

Preferred Skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
