Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications for a 12-month project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Perform application analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Conduct unit testing and support system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Document technical designs, processes, and application changes while participating in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for technical and business collaboration.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Experience in large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of mainframe automation tools or cloud integration.
