Description

Develop and maintain mainframe applications within a financial messaging environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop mainframe applications using COBOL and DB2.
• Design and implement system architecture across integrated environments.
• Debug code using tools like Expeditor to ensure application stability.
• Manage data structures using VSAM and MQ application development.
• Work with architecture and design across distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Application and COBOL development.
• Proficiency with DB2, VSAM, and MQ.
• Experience using debugging tools such as Expeditor.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
• Experience with financial messaging application development.
• Knowledge of COBOL, DB2, and NDM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, JSON, JMS, Kafka, API REST services, Spring Boot, and WOLA.
• Familiarity with File Aid, Stored Procedures, Endevor, CA-7, MFTS, s-FTP, XML, CLIST, and REXX.
