Description

You will develop and maintain core mainframe applications, managing data processes and batch workflows.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and JCL.
• Manage data and processes within IMS DB, DB2, and VSAM environments.
• Execute and manage batch jobs using scheduling tools like CA-7.
• Utilize mainframe utilities such as z/OS Connect and IDz for development tasks.
• Document processes and track work using Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Expert proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Hands-on experience with IMS DB, DB2, and VSAM.
• Familiarity with CICS environments.
• Experience with scheduling tools like CA-7.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Understanding of mainframe source control and change management concepts.
