Description

You will own the development, design, and deployment of IBM Mainframe applications using JCL, COBOL, SQL, and DB2.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IMS segments and create detailed technical designs independently.
• Develop, unit test, and deploy code using Endever and File-AID.
• Lead junior developers and participate in end-to-end field mapping.
• Maintain and optimize DB2 objects and processing logic.
• Utilize AI tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with COBOL, JCL, and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of IMS and DB2.
• Proficiency with Endever and File-AID.
• Experience with INSYNC, Jira, Confluence, and Service Now.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, VSCode).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kafka and RESTful APIs.
